It’s mid-May, which means many Americans are finishing the school year, planning summer vacations, and looking ahead to the fall. But with the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, rising inflation rates, and the stock market slump, it seems many plans are in flux. To better understand consumer sentiments, we took a temperature check on a variety of current trends and news stories. Using the PureSpectrum Insights Platform to quickly create and field an omnibus survey, we polled Americans on a variety of topics. Here’s some of what we learned:

Methodology

PureSpectrum interviewed 469 online respondents between May 5th and 6th, using the PureSpectrum Insights Platform. The platform is integrated with the PureSpectrum Marketplace which combines proprietary measurement tools and third-party data validation to quickly collect high-quality insights. The study targeted people within the United States and consisted of a general population audience of 18+ years old. This study uses a 95% confidence level to examine the data.
