PureSpectrum will be the premium sponsor for Startup Weekend Conejo Valley 2019 on October 4-6, furthering the company’s support of innovation in the community. Headquartered in Westlake Village, PureSpectrum grew from a solopreneur in California Lutheran’s Entrepreneurship Center, Hub101, to 40 employees globally in a few short years. Building on last year’s donation to Hub101, the company is encouraging future business creators through Startup Weekend.

“Supporting the local startup community is a major priority for me and the company. We want to see the Conejo Valley continue to create opportunities for people in our community,” PureSpectrum Founder and CEO Michael McCrary said.

The Startup Weekend program challenges participants to build a company from idea to investor pitch in 48 hours. Entrepreneurs form teams on a Friday based around a concept and work to create a viable business to present the following Sunday. PureSpectrum’s Vice President of Analytics and Data Science Sushma Vasudevan will join the panel as a judge.

“Startup Weekend is a very important part of growing any startup ecosystem and would not be possible without the support of our community,” Community Manager at Hub101 Greg Monterrosa said. “We are very fortunate to have amazing companies like PureSpectrum step up to help us cultivate and nurture new ideas and inspire entrepreneurs.”
